The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning massive earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly going ahead.
